The Degrees in your Birth Chart
Did you know that each of your planets has a degree as well as a sign and house? This is another layer to astrology that we can learn about to help us learn about ourselves on a deeper level. Nikola Stojanovic is the Astrologer who brought this theory into the public eye in recent years. Each degree is associated with a sign - starting with aries at 1 degree and continuing with taurus at 2 degrees and so on. You will feel the influence of the degree and sign on your planets.
If you have a planet at 0 degrees this is the most “pure” energy of that sign. That is the only degree that is not associated with any specific sign. You are starting a new journey with the energy of that planet. For example: I am a virgo moon at 0 degrees. This means I exhibit the traits of virgo in the most pure form in this life. In my most recent past lives I have completed a cycle involving my emotions. It is now time for me to start on my new emotional journey and learn new lessons. (and boy do I have a lot of lessons to learn! lol) You can tell how far along you are in your journey with that planet based on how high the degree is. The 29th degree is the highest degree your planet could be in. This means you are completing a journey. For example: If your Venus sign is at 29 degrees this means you are completing a cycle in love. In this lifetime you will learn all you needed to learn to complete the cycle. 0 degrees and 29 degrees are considered critical degrees and pay very close attention to them if you have any planets at those degrees!
